For Google, it is important for webmasters to give feedback…it doesn't matter whether it's a positive or a negative tone feedback. Feedbacks are one of the important factor to improve the freshness of the data in Webmaster Tools.
For verified site's data such as crawl, index and search query stats, Google has increased the update frequency and this is definitely a good news for serious webmasters. The data that Google get relies on the data that Google receives from your site. If your site's content are not updated very ofter or if you are not getting any new backlink, is unlikely for you to see any updates on your data when you sign in to Webmaster Tools.
We as responsible webmasters should always help each other so it is crucial that we offer suggestions so that Google can continue to improve it's services. When webmasters are serious in improving their site, Google will also be serious in feedbacks obtained from the community.
