When was the last time a site with over 30 million visitors, with 1 million new people joining each week, rolled out the red carpet to you and said, come and mingle with our self-targeted clients for free?

Yep, not ever.

Even Google and Yahoo only give you access to the people who are looking for keywords you may or may not be listed under.

Neither of them give you a page about each individual with their likes, and dislikes, or pre-sorted into groups that give you clues as to whether they'd be interested in your products and services, or know people who would be.

You want to choose your keywords to target. This is your first priority, because if your keyword research isn't right then everything else that follows after this will be based on false data. You want keywords that have the most traffic (these are keyword phrases most often typed into the search boxes of the search engines) but also have the least competition (there are the fewest other web pages which contain those keywords, or are optimized for those keywords).

Have you noticed that it is easer to get ranked higher on Google with older websites than it is with new websites? Have you ever wondered why is this so and what does it take for you to do to get a high ranking if you have a new website?

Spammers oftenly use brand new domain names to make a quick profit. Spammers often buy hundreds of domains at once and fill them with crap or scraper content and hoping to make a profit with the advertisements that appears on the sites (usually spammers use AdSense to put ads on these kind of sites). Black-hat webmasters also sometimes use new domains to test for new search engines exploit (mainly on spamming techniques)

It is obviously difficult for Google to know which sites (or domains) can be trusted and this is why Google had invented a filter system which down-ranks new websites until Google decides they can be trusted.
